Continuing a submission

Purpose​

KCFIS keeps every submission you start, even if you close the browser or sign out. Continue Editing lets you pick up where you left off.

Who can continue​

You can continue a submission when all of these are true:

  • The submission belongs to your entity (or you are an administrator).
  • The submission status is one of Validating, Validation Failed, Validated, Saved, Rejected by Reviewer (submitters), or Rejected by Admin (reviewers/administrators).

If the status is anything else, the Continue Editing button does not appear; use Review, Finalize, or View instead.

Step-by-step​

  1. Open Submissions.
  2. (Optional) Filter by Saved or Rejected by Reviewer to find draft work.
  3. Click Continue Editing on the row.

KCFIS opens Submit Data on the correct step:

  • If status is Uploaded or no data is loaded yet, you land on Step 2.
  • If status is Validating, Validation Failed, Validated, Saved, or rejected back, you land on Step 3 with the grid populated.
Expected result

You see your previous edits, the validation banner, and the action bar. Continue from where you stopped.
